Open Access Publication Costs

Since 2022 Leipzig University is receiving funding from the German Research Foundation in the Open Access Publication Costs program for the settlement of additional costs for Open Access publications in connection with the Open Access transformation. At the same time, the existing workflows and structures for the payment of OA costs at UL will be further developed and processes for monitoring publication costs and publication output will be established as part of the project. In addition, procedures for integrating OA costs into budget distribution and criteria for appropriate distribution mechanisms will be examined and developed.
